Logan Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Tonya Crum, DNP, FNP-BC, MSN, as Chief Nursing Officer.

Throughout her 25-year career at Logan Regional Medical Center, Crum has served in numerous leadership and clinical roles, including Shift Supervisor, Clinical Educator, Nursing Director, Director of Patient Experience and Family Nurse Practitioner. She also developed and implemented Logan Regional’s first Nurse Residency Program, helping to support and mentor newly licensed nurses as they began their professional careers.

Most recently, Crum served as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Coalfield Health. She is grateful for the opportunity to have provided direct patient care and for the support, encouragement and professionalism shown by the Coalfield Health team. She is now returning to Logan Regional Medical Center to serve as chief nursing officer.

As chief nursing officer, Crum will lead the nursing team at the hospital where she has spent much of her career. She is passionate about fostering a culture of compassion, clinical excellence, professional development and teamwork while ensuring exceptional care for every patient. She looks forward to serving the community that has supported her throughout her career and building upon Logan Regional’s strong foundation.

Crum holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of Charleston, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Leadership, Doctor of Nursing Practice in Organizational Leadership and Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Chamberlain University. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC).
