Logan Regional Medical Center Celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Special Events and $75 Mammogram Offer

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Logan Regional Medical Center is launching a series of community events and a discounted screening initiative aimed at encouraging early detection and supporting women’s health across the region.

To ensure cost is not a barrier to lifesaving care, Logan Regional is offering a $75 cash special for digital mammograms tailored for uninsured patients. Women aged 40 and older can self-refer for a screening by calling 304.831.1928 to schedule an appointment.

"Early detection remains our most powerful tool in the fight against breast cancer," said Tonya Crum, Chief Nursing Officer at Logan Regional Medical Center. "We are proud to make mammograms accessible to everyone in our community while creating engaging, supportive spaces to celebrate survivors and raise awareness together."
