Logan Regional Medical Center Announces Full Lineup for Centennial Concert Celebration
LOGAN, W.Va. — Logan Regional Medical Center has officially announced the complete entertainment lineup for its Centennial Concert Celebration, a free event that will bring nationally recognized artists, local favorites, and the community together on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Logan High School Football Field on Middleburg Island.
The concert is part of Logan Regional’s yearlong celebration of 100 years of serving southern West Virginia and is the hospital’s way of thanking the community for a century of trust and support.
Headlining the evening will be Grammy Award-winning Bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder. The lineup also features Logan native and America’s Got Talent winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., the Davisson Brothers Band, Motown: Voices of Classic Soul featuring current and former lead singers of The Four Tops, Temptations, and the Drifters, legendary songwriter John Ellison, rising country artist Ryne Brashear, Delnora, and the Mountain Stage Band.
“There are many ways an organization can celebrate a milestone anniversary,” said Justin Turner, CEO of Logan Regional Medical Center. “Some choose formal galas or ticketed events, but we wanted to do something different. We wanted to celebrate with the people who have supported us for the last 100 years. This concert is our way of saying thank you to the community that has trusted us with their care for generations.”
In addition to live entertainment, guests can enjoy a variety of local food vendors throughout the evening, including Juanita’s Mexican Grill, Giovanni’s, Southern Slush, Rock N Roll Cinnamon Rolls, Shuckers, Pop & Pour, Triple B Eatery, and more!
Families are invited to visit the Kids Zone, making the event fun for guests of all ages.
The celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display sponsored by Marshall Health Network, providing a memorable finale to the evening.
Additional event information, parking details, and updates will be shared on Logan Regional Medical Center’s Facebook page as the event approaches.
