iWhether you require inpatient or outpatient surgical services, Logan Regional Medical Center is able to provide high quality care from our experienced and skilled surgeons and surgical staff.
Normal hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm, with coverage outside of these hours provided by a designated and qualified call surgical team. The department consists of four major rooms and a urology/minor procedure room.
Your anesthesiologist will participate in planning, directing and performing your anesthetic, and he will review your history and lab tests the day of your surgery or in advance on pre-op visit several days before your surgery. Your anesthesiologist will frequently be assisted by a nurse anesthetist. It is important that you report to the anesthesiologist any changes in your physical condition that arise after the pre-admission testing has taken place.

Endoscopy normal working hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, with coverage outside these hours by a designated endoscopy technician and the on call OR nurse. Endoscopy does not require anesthesia, but does require sedation.The department consists of two procedure rooms, an ERCP room, and a pre/post procedure observation area. Endoscopic services include EGD, colonoscopy, PEG placement, ERCP, bronchoscopy, thorocentesis, paracentesis, TEE, Bravo, Tilt Testing, Echo with contrast and an RN who will follow you throughout your care from endoscopy to radiology for liver and renal biopsies.
