Nursing Services

Caring is Our Calling
That’s why we’re here.

The philosophy of the Department of Nursing reflects the hospital's mission and vision to provide excellence in healthcare, provide superior facilities and needed services to the community and to enable physicians to best serve the needs of their patient population and most importantly, generate measurable benefits in response to the healthcare needs for patients within our community.

Toward that common goal, this department acts as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide the highest possible quality of patient care within the available resources and services.

The Department of Nursing considers each patient to be an individual, a member of a family, and a member of the community who requires varying amounts of physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, or economic status. Comprehensive, individualized nursing care is provided via established standards of nursing practice and is the primary responsibility of the Department of Nursing.

The patient is the most important person in the hospital, and nurses are one of the most important resources.

Nursing exists to provide individualized care to patients and their families in aiding their cure, providing comfort and support in their death, advocating for their needs, and assisting in improving the standards of healthcare and the promotion of optimal wellness through education.
