Logan, WV (January 1, 2019) - Logan Regional Medical Center is ringing in 2019 with the year’s first bundle of joy. Weighing 5 pounds and measuring 19 inches long, Layne Thompson was born to Hailey and Sidney Thompson of Man, WV on Tuesday, January 1, at 1:52.

“We are so excited to meet our new baby boy!” said Hailey. “The physicians, nurses, and staff at Logan Regional all helped to make this such a special and memorable experience for us, and we are so grateful for the wonderful care our family received.”

Logan Regional Medical Center’s Women’s Center is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care close to home for new and expecting parents in the region. The center offers a highly skilled staff, 2 experienced OB/GYNS, Dr. Jenq Sheng Liu and Dr. Emad Mousa, state-of-the-art equipment, private rooms, a HUGS infant security system, and a continuous epidural to ensure a pain-free delivery for new mothers.
