Emergency Services
Logan County crossed the threshold into a new era of healthcare as the doors open to the new Emergency Services Center.
The state of the art center expands the space to almost three times the current emergency room.
All exam areas will be private with several rooms dedicated to specialized care such as trauma and cardiac. The spacious surroundings and most advanced equipment were designed to not only provide the highest quality of care but to improve patient visit times as well.
"We have set the standard very high," said Samantha Mullins, Chief Clinical Officer. "We are equipped with the most up to date technology available. This, with our well trained staff, will provide unsurpassed patient care in the most efficient way."

Using newly developed automated pharmacy and laboratory systems will aid physicians in diagnostics and treatment. The new ER will also house its own radiology department. A new CT scanner, portable x-ray and utilization of the latest imaging technology have all been put into place for the convenience and the essential care of the patient.
According to Kevin Fowler, CEO the Emergency Services Center is an answer to the request of the community. "We listened to the public and have brought the very best to our area. This hospital is committed to fulfilling the needs of our patients and the community."
