Position Shift Minimum Qualifications
Nursing Assistant Department: 4th Floor
Status: Flex, variable hours and shifts
Qualifications: Ability to read, write, understand direct written instruction, and receive and transmit information normally acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or equivalency (GED). Certified Nursing Assistants who are registered with the WV Nurse Aid Board are preferred.

Successful completion of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training acquired through on-the-job training. Demonstrates proficiency with taking blood pressure, temperature, and pulse acquired through on-the-job training. Demonstrates proficiency with administering a variety of routine patient care procedures acquired through on-the-job training. Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills in order to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships.

Housekeeping Assistant/Utility Dept: Housekeeping
Status: Full Time Status
Qualifications: Requires the ability to read and understand direct oral and/or written instruction and receive and transmit simple information normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years working experience in the institutional housekeeping field preferred. Requires a valid driver's license.

Ability to understand hospital department policies and procedures and operate departmental equipment/beeper obtained through on the job training. Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to maintain cooperative work relationships. Ability to maintain records and logs pertaining to work.

Respiratory Therapist Department: Respiratory Care
Status: Flex status
Qualifications: Requires completion of a Respiratory Therapy Technician training program, credentialing as Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician by the National Board for Respiratory Care or eligible to this Entry Level Technician Exam and awaiting the exam date; and must also hold a current license as Licensed Respiratory Therapy Technician from the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care.

Staff Occupational Therapy Assistant Department: Rehabilitative Services
Status: Flex
Qualifications: Must be Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program, and must have, or be eligible for, West Virginia State Licensure or Registration. Registration must be obtained within one (1) year, or as per state law.

Phlebotomist

Shift: Variable
Status: Flex Status
Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent; Successful completion of a phlebotomy training program and/or registration by examination as a certified phlebotomist; Experience as a phlebotomist and/or point of care tech in a hospital setting preferred; Excellent customer relations skills; Must have mathematical, verbal, and written skills at the high school level; Must possess a current WV State License to perform moderately complex testing (POC testing).
Pharmacy Technician Department: Pharmacy
Status: Flex
Qualifications: Basic reading skills and mathematical functions such as percentages, ratios, etc... normally obtained through attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED); Demonstrated proficiency with IV compounding techniques normally acquired through completion of on-the-job training or previous work experience; Fundamental knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, computer order system, and medication abbreviations normally acquired through previous experience, and; Interpersonal communication skills to maintain cooperative work relationships.
Clinical Dietician Dept: Dietary Services
Status: Full-time
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree from an American Dietetic Association accredited program; Completion of a subsequent internship or equivalent supervised experienced; Registered licensed dietitian with the American Dietetic Association; Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer operations and use of common word processing applications, and; Interpersonal communication skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with patients and employees.

Staff Pharmacist Department: Pharmacist
Status: Full-time
Qualifications: Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy and have current license in West Virginia, Experience in a related hospital setting preferred and interpersonal communication skills in order to clarify physician orders and acquire or provide information to the medical staff.
Radiologic Technolog ist Assistant Shift: Variable
Department: Radiology
Status: Flex
Qualifications: Satisfactory performance in this position requires attainment of a high school diploma or equivalency (GED); Ability to type 30 words per minute; Ability to operate computer and printer, fax machines, copy machines telephone and other required equipment; Ability to drive and valid West Virginia Driver's License; Ability to communicate effectively with Physicians, Nursing Staff and other ancillary services; Must possess CPR Certification, and; Basic knowledge of patient care.
Nursing Secretary or Extern Department: ICCU
Status: Full Time
Qualifications: Must have ability to read, write, understand direct written instruction, comprehend medical terminology, and receive and transmit information normally acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or equivalency (GED); Successful completion of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training acquired through on-the-job training; Ability to operate equipment required for job functions; and effective interpersonal communication skills in order to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships.

Nursing Extern Department: Various Nursing Units
Status: Flex
Qualifications: Must have ability to read, write, understand direct written instruction, comprehend medical terminology, and receive and transmit information normally acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or equivalency (GED); Successful completion of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training acquired through on-the-job training; Ability to operate equipment required for job functions; and effective interpersonal communication skills in order to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships.

Licensed Practical Nurse Department: Overflow Unit
Status: Flex
Qualifications: Completion of program for Practical Nurses with an appropriate degree in Nursing and licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of West Virginia renewed annually; Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and conduct self in a courteous and professional manner, and; Collaborates with other health care members to maintain a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse Dept: Infusion Therapy
Status:
Qualifications: Completion of a program for Registered Nurses with an appropriate degree in Nursing and licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of West Virginia. Prefer PICC line certification or completion of PICC course with eligibility for certification. Certified to complete administration of Chemotherapy agents with 3-5 years of current experience, ACLS certification. Prefer knowledge of Infusion Therapy billing basics and ability to complete charging process in the Meditech system.

Utilizes the nursing process as a framework for patient care while recognizing the dignity and worth of each patient. Collaborates with other health care members to maintain a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
